Client set a task of developing a new management system, which would support growing business needs and define clear rulesof interaction between business units within the group.
SBS Consulting performed deep-dive analysis of business processes, paying special attention to manufacturing, purchases, logistics, and finance functions. The result was a new operating model, which helped to clearly separate responsibility of each company in a group and define responsibility areas of key executives. Also, new hierarchy of company-level relationships within the group was introduced. Main work streams included definition and allocation of functions among companies and departments, development of controls and decision-making rules for key companies, creation of role mandates for top executives and analysis of new model’s impact on business economics.
New organizational structure and operating model were approved by shareholders and implemented as of January 2014.
