    Client launching a new plant capital investment project requiring rapid deployment of a project management system and EPC support

  • Situation

    The SBS Consulting team was invited to assess the situation on the project and form the concept of the Project Office. The main tasks for SBS Consulting experts were: minimizing the risks of launching a project, forming a project management structure, designing a reporting system and meetings; expert support for the contracting of the general contractor (acceleration of the process, examination of the contract); control over the project and its key parameters (terms, cost)

    During the project implementation, the project implementation schedule was optimized for 2 months, risk minimization measures were prepared, the Project Committee and the Project Office were launched, the Project Charter and the RACI matrix were developed for all project participants (Project Office, technical customer, general contractor), a backlog of tasks was formed of the project, the client was supported during negotiations and tender procedures
