  • BACKGROUND

    At the beginning of the project, Client has been in process of post-merger integration with another large player. SBS Consulting had a task of creation of a new joint organizational structure in HR, Administrative, PR, Industrial Safety, and Purchasing functions.

  • SOLUTION

    SBS Consulting proposed an approach based on delayering, enabling to reduce management levels between the President and mid-management. In addition, several departments had to be consolidated, another group of departments was outsourced. SBS Consulting also provided recommendations related to headcount reduction in several functions.

  • RESULTS

    Agreed organizational structures became the central achievement in this project. Fewer organizational levels allowed faster implementation of decisions and less bureaucracy.
