In order to increase export sales the Company acquired energy feedstock trader. Acquired company exploited the suboptimal shipment scheme. SBS Consulting had to design new model of export sales and logistics that would enable to minimize payroll, unify sales of different products, and optimize logistic flows.
Project team conducted analysis of current sales and logistics processes, defined key problem areas and peculiarities of different business units. Besides, organizational structure and personnel allocation between branches were examined.
The completion of project resulted in recommendations on adjustments of multimodal transportation (including switching to new delivery basis), reallocation of responsibilities for sales and re-design of organizational structure in terms of geography and headcount. SBS Consulting’s recommendations enabled to enhance the transparency of export sales, decrease compliance risk and legal expenses.
